This 'Night in Rome' Theme, was commissioned by Tom Aitkenhead for the celebration of his 30th Birthday. The event was held at 'River Park Place', in Brisbane and efficiently organised by Kim Woolard of 'My Special Events'. Tom wanted to create an epic Toga party in hounour of his closest friends, family and colleagues. The entrance was dominated by 'Caesar s' Throne and a Grecian Pillared Arch. Cocktails were served in a room decorated by ten Illuminated Grecian Columns, alternating themed Cocktail tables: (1) fruit laden Urns, (2) Caesar Busts, Tea Light candles and lashings of White Chiffon Drapes. Tom also provided his guests with a sumptous feast of Spit Roasted Pork and a buffet fit for the Roman Senate. The buffet was decorated with our Roman Bar canopies including Illuminated Columns and White Chiffon Drapes, the Tables were dressed in White Linen with Gold Sashes and the Tables were Centred with our Roman Candelabra which filled the room with the elegant flicker of Candelight and Ivy. An epic vision Tom and well executed Kim! Your guests felt very very special.
